WHO IS “NANNY”?

Nanny is a male or female who is hired for full time for taking care of a child/ old adult above 65 years of age. A nanny is an individual who is employed by a family who is not able to take care of the children/old age, so a nanny is hired who is fully invested in a child’s development. A nanny’s duties include looking after the child, preparing food, giving a bath, playing activities, and also helping the child in homework and any school work. A nanny also cooks meals for a child. In other words, we can say that she is responsible for a child’s development.   • Bathing: Giving a proper bath to the child& ensure Hygiene and Cleanliness of infants and its surroundings.
  •  Sponging: Bathe and sponge the newborn with care.

  •  Mouth Care: Keeping face and mouth clean and making them properly do the proper brushing.
  •  Artificial Bottle/Spoon Feeding: Prepare feed for the infant and feeding them through the bottle/spoon etc. and taking care of their nutrition.
  • Diaper Change: Take care of diapers/nappies or the infant.
  • Sterilization of baby Utensils: Keep baby bottles sterilized to prevent infections.
